The formation and ongoing adaptation of worldviews, which in Christian words is called transformation is a command for each Christ follower.
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:2)
This transformation is a complex process, in which people integrate knowledge, experiences, and intuitions into a more-or-less coherent whole. This statement demonstrates or references the first lens of a worldview. The last session I discussed the interrelated nature of these lenses. And, hopefully, I helped you understand what a worldview is. Khant, Hume, Rousseau, Aristotle, Socrates, and other more or lesser known philosophers have debated the source of knowledge for millennia. Where can a person go to find Truth (with a capitol T) that can be used to answer the other big questions and flesh out the other lens? This podcast discusses the source of Truth.
